Do you desire to grow in your ability to share your faith in a postmodern world? Do you long to see students know and love Jesus? Are you excited to listen, learn and engage with students in a new culture? Do you have experience in intentionally engaging in spiritual dialogue and using the P2C Knowing God Personally tool*? Do you want to invest your Reading Week to change lives for eternity? If your answers are yes, this could be the project for you.
*No experience but a strong desire to learn? We may be able to help you meet this requirement before departure. Please talk to your campus staff or email us.

Once the greatest missionary sending nation in the world, Great Britain has become increasingly post-Christian. Religious affiliation is high, but those experiencing a personal relationship with Jesus are nearly non-existent. In one intense week, we will partner with British students to bring Jesus’ love to their campuses. We will fight and pray to reawaken this sleeping giant who can bring light and hope to a darkening continent. Come with us, see God’s sovereignty at work and help call this prodigal home to the Father.
We will be partnering with staff and students at universities in Glasgow, Scotland, and Nottingham, England (new this year!). These cities and their campuses have a rich spiritual heritage. Men like John Knox, David Livingstone and William Booth have been sent out to impact the world from the very places we will be going. Unfortunately, times have changed. The current generation of both Scottish and English students is virtually unreached. Most students believe that the Church is a thing of the past, that tolerance and pluralism are the paths of the future, and that Jesus is ultimately irrelevant.
We will be partnering with the local campus ministries in both Glasgow & Nottingham. Be prepared for an intense week of sharing your faith and building friendships. The ministry in these region is relatively new, and we are excited to help them connect the gospel with the current realities of university students in the UK. You will also have opportunities to inspire the Christian students there to boldly lead their peers by faith.
We will have one day of orientation when we arrive, and one day of debrief at the end, including some sightseeing. Schedule for the rest of the week:
Mornings – devotions, training
Mid-day – on-campus evangelism
Late afternoon – debrief the day and celebration
Evening – social time with teammates and new British friends
